Adrian sat alone in his study.

Marco entered.
“We found another witness.”
Adrian looked up.
“Who?”
“A former mechanic.”
The man had worked on Adrian's father's car shortly before the fatal crash.
He remembered unusual instructions.
A request to avoid documenting certain repairs.
A payment made through an intermediary.
Adrian listened to the recorded statement.
Then closed his eyes.
He couldn't yet prove Walter had arranged the crash.
But the possibility was no longer impossible.
