Vincent began dismantling the criminal side of his organization.
He cooperated with investigators.
Separated legitimate businesses from illegal operations.
And accepted that some of his former associates would turn against him.
Dominic resisted.
“You're throwing away everything our father built.”
Vincent looked at him.
“Some things should never have been built.”
Dominic stared.
For the first time, the brothers stood on opposite sides of the future.
I watched Vincent make difficult decisions.
He lost influence.
Money.
Allies.
But something changed in him.
He began sleeping through the night.
He smiled more.
