Tommy's investigation uncovered the truth.
Vincent DeLuca had ordered the attempted break-in.
He wanted documents Alexander kept in his private office.
But the timing hadn't been accidental.
Someone had told Vincent when Alexander would be away.
Someone who knew Claire would be home alone.
Someone who understood exactly how to keep Alexander distracted.
Sophia.
When confronted with the evidence, she denied everything.
Then Tommy produced phone records.
Messages.
Financial transfers.
And surveillance footage.
Sophia's face went white.
Alexander stared at her.
“Why?”
She began crying.
“Alexander, I never wanted Claire hurt.”
He looked at her.
“You knew someone was going to my house.”
She shook her head.
“I thought they were only taking documents.”
Alexander's expression hardened.
“My pregnant wife was inside.”
Sophia covered her face.
“I didn't think—”
“No.”
