Chapter 8 - The Boardroom Purge
On Friday morning at 10:00 AM, the extraordinary general assembly of Harrington Logistics was convened in the Center City corporate tower.
The twelve institutional shareholders and private logistics partners sat in breathless silence around the mahogany table.
Harrison Cole walked in, carrying a gold-embossed leather portfolio.
He did not sit at the end of the table; he took the Chairman's seat at the head.
"Gentlemen," Harrison announced, his commanding voice filling the vaulted room. "Pursuant to Section 12 of the Corporate Fiduciary Code, all executive voting shares held by Richard Harrington have been declared void due to felony indictments."
Harrison opened the portfolio, displaying the new corporate charter.
"By unanimous judicial decree of the Philadelphia Chancery Court, 100% of the operational assets and voting equity of this company are permanently transferred into the Khloe & Baby Grace Cole Family Trust."
