Chapter 7 - The Eviction of the Kensington Estate

While Vanessa sat in county holding and Richard sat in federal detention, the civil and commercial reckoning dismantled the Kensington dynasty.

At 4:30 PM on Thursday, three marked Sheriff cruisers and two commercial repossession flatbeds pulled into the wrought-iron gates of the Kensington Estate in Gladwyne.

Arthur Kensington stood on the front lawn in his slippers, screaming at the deputies as they placed red foreclosure notices across the carved oak entrance.

"You cannot seize my home!" Arthur wailed, waving his cane. "My family has lived here for forty years!"

"Your home was used as collateral for the $8.4 million offshore credit facility you co-signed with your daughter," Deputy Miller stated coldly. "The underlying debt has been accelerated and purchased in full by the Harrison Cole Investment Trust. You have thirty minutes to vacate the premises."

Neighbors who had tolerated the family’s arrogance for decades gathered along the stone fence, recording the spectacle on their phones.

Moving crews inventoried the antique furniture, oil paintings, and luxury vehicles, loading them onto trucks to satisfy the multi-million-dollar civil restitution judgments filed on behalf of Khloe and her baby.

The grand iron gates were locked with heavy steel chains.

The Kensington name was officially erased from Pennsylvania high society forever.
