Chapter 11 - THE BRIDGE BENEATH THE HARBOR LIGHTS

Patrick tried to flee Boston.

He arranged a private boat.

A false passport.

And a midnight departure.

But investigators had already secured warrants.

Police intercepted him near the harbor.

Nolan was arrested two days later.

Both men faced serious charges related to the poisoning attempt, financial crimes, and the warehouse explosion.

Dela watched the news from Cormack's apartment.

Her hands trembled.

For three years, she'd been running.

Hiding.

Waiting for someone to find her.

Now the men who destroyed her family were in custody.

Cormack stood beside her.

“It's over.”

Dela shook her head.

“Not completely.”

He looked at her.

She swallowed.

“My brother.”

Cormack went still.

“You said he disappeared.”

She nodded.

“He was sixteen.”

“Name?”

“Evan.”

Cormack studied her.

Then said, “We'll keep looking.”

Dela's eyes filled.

For the first time, she believed someone might actually find him.
