Vincent had worked with Reed for years.
He controlled several supply contracts.
And he'd recently hired Evan Morgan as a driver.
Reed stared at the documents.
His expression darkened.
Tommy stood beside him.
“Boss?”
Reed looked toward the window.
“Vincent's been stealing from us.”
Tommy nodded.
“And using the restaurant.”
Reed's jaw tightened.
Then he asked, “Does Evan know what he's carrying?”
Tommy hesitated.
“Probably.”
Reed closed his eyes.
For a moment, he looked exhausted.
Then he said, “Get the lawyers involved. Preserve everything.”
Tommy nodded.
“And the woman?”
Reed looked at him.
“She's not part of this.”
Tommy hesitated.
“Evan may think otherwise.”

Reed's expression hardened.
“Then we make sure she has the information and protection she needs.”
