Chapter 10 - Sunset Over Sovereign Bay.

================================================================================
One year after that stormy afternoon on the yacht, the golden summer sun set over the calm waters of Sovereign Bay, painting the Atlantic horizon in breathtaking shades of amber, rose, and lavender.
The waterfront terrace of Rowan Street Coffee was alive with laughter, warm acoustic guitar melodies, and the rich aroma of freshly roasted Ethiopian coffee and warm artisan pastries.
Over two hundred guests had gathered for the annual Sovereign Community Harvest Gala—dockworkers, local artisans, bank employees, and lifelong friends.
At the center of the marina, the newly restored Sovereign Dawn was docked beneath strings of warm fairy lights, its decks filled with laughing children from the marine science academy who were preparing for their summer research expedition.
I stood on the cedar terrace wearing a simple, elegant ivory linen sundress, holding a cup of freshly brewed pour-over coffee, feeling the cool ocean breeze against my skin.
Liam walked over, holding two plates of warm lemon tarts, smiling warmly as he stood beside me at the railing.
“The board approved the expansion of the waterfront artisan grants this morning, Madam President,” Liam smiled, leaning gently against my shoulder.
“Thank you, Liam,” I replied, looking into his clear, honest hazel eyes. “For being my partner in everything that truly matters.”
Liam wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me close against the evening breeze. “You showed this whole city that true power isn't about looking rich. It’s about building something that stands strong when the tide comes in.”
From the terrace, Arthur Vance clinked his glass with a silver spoon and raised a warm, joyful toast:
“To Sovereign Trust! And to Sienna Sterling—who proved that integrity, courage, and genuine heart will always triumph over arrogance!”
Two hundred voices cheered in unison, raising their cups beneath the golden sunset sky.

I smiled, resting my head against Liam’s shoulder, feeling a profound, unshakeable joy settle deep into my heart.
The spilled martini, the cold ocean railing, and the bitter insults of the past were gone forever. Standing tall on the sunlit shore of the kingdom I had built with truth and honor, my life was peaceful, prosperous, and completely my own.
