Chapter 8 - THE SECRET IN THE SHIPPING CONTAINER
Detective Hannah Brooks uncovered a connection between Julian and a series of suspicious warehouse transfers.
Financial records showed unusual payments.
Security logs contained unexplained gaps.
And several employees had reported irregular activity before Rose disappeared.
One former worker remembered seeing Rose arguing with Julian near a loading dock.
Another recalled Rose carrying a small camera.
Amelia listened to the findings with her hands clenched.
“Did she photograph something?”
Hannah nodded.
“Possibly.”
Alessandro's legal team provided warehouse records through proper channels.
The records revealed a container that had been moved without authorization.
Its contents were listed as industrial equipment.
But the documentation didn't match.
Investigators began examining the shipment.
Amelia stared at the paperwork.
“Rose found out.”
Hannah nodded.
“We think she may have witnessed something.”
Amelia closed her eyes.
Her sister had always been curious.
Always asking questions.

Always refusing to ignore things that didn't make sense.
Now that curiosity might have placed her in danger.
