Eleanor finally revealed the full structure of my father's investments.
He had provided emergency financing to Moretti Holdings through Bennett Family Holdings.
In exchange, he received minority equity interests and certain contractual protections.
Those interests had passed into a trust for my benefit.
I stared at the documents.
“So I own part of Moretti Holdings?”
Eleanor nodded.
“Yes.”
I swallowed.
“How much?”
She showed me the current ownership schedule.
Enough to make me one of the company's significant shareholders.
I sat back.
My father had never told me.
Not because he wanted to control me.
But because he wanted me to have options.
Eleanor smiled sadly.
“He said you'd understand when you needed to.”
Tears filled my eyes.
I looked at the documents.
