Chapter 8 - The Raid at the Airport Suite

At 4:15 PM, at John F. Kennedy International Airport, Gregory Cole was sitting in the private executive lounge of the international terminal, sipping vintage champagne.
He carried a leather attaché case containing two forged Austrian passports, encrypted USB cryptocurrency keys, and $50,000 in cash.
He checked his gold watch, smiling as he dialed Evelyn’s private number to coordinate their rendezvous.
The phone rang twice, then disconnected.
CLICK.
Two plainclothes FBI agents and Senior Detective Marcus Stone stepped around the leather partition, unholstering their badges.
“Gregory Cole?” Detective Stone asked.
Gregory’s smile vanished. He reached toward his inner jacket pocket, but two federal marshals pinned him face-first onto the glass coffee table, shattering his champagne flute.
“Don’t reach for anything, Mr. Cole,” Detective Stone commanded, clicking steel handcuffs tightly around his wrists. “Under Federal Warrant 904-B, you are placed under immediate arrest for Interstate Wire Fraud, Money Laundering, Corporate Embezzlement, and Conspiracy to Defraud.”
Gregory’s attaché case was confiscated, revealing the complete digital keys to the offshore Belize accounts.
