Chapter 8 - The Boardroom Purge

Two days later, the 42nd-floor boardroom of Coleman Global Enterprises in Stamford, Connecticut, was convened for an extraordinary emergency session.
The twenty-two senior directors, institutional investors, and corporate trustees sat in tense, breathless silence around the sixty-foot mahogany table.
Nathan walked into the room dressed in a sharp charcoal suit, looking commanding, formidable, and completely renewed. Beside him walked myself, wearing a professional navy blazer, carrying the complete forensic audit files.
Nathan did not sit at the head of the table; he stood tall, placing Julian’s seized corporate shares on the center glass.
"Gentlemen," Nathan announced, his voice carrying effortlessly across the room. "As of 8:00 AM this morning, Julian Coleman and Dr. Malcolm Reeves have been remanded to federal maximum-security custody without bail, facing charges of Attempted Capital Murder, Conspiracy, and Interstate Wire Fraud."
Gasps of shock rippled across the board members.
"Furthermore," Nathan continued, "every board member who approved Julian's unauthorized offshore shell accounts is removed from this company effective immediately. Their voting shares are seized under federal corporate racketeering statutes."
Nathan turned his gaze toward me, his expression softening with profound warmth.
