Chapter 8 - The Forfeiture of the Radford Bloodline

At 2:00 PM on Thursday, the executive probate boardroom of the Franklin County Courthouse convened an emergency estate hearing under Chief Judge Evelyn Sterling.
Julian Montgomery presented the unalterable 2012 Radford Family Testamentary Trust deed.
Under the original terms established by my late husband, Thomas Radford, the entire 800-acre commercial ranch, the livestock operations, and the $4.5 million liquid trust corpus were held in my name, with Brock listed as a conditional secondary beneficiary upon my passing.
However, Section 14 contained an explicit Moral Turpitude and Slaying Clause:
‘Any designated beneficiary who engages in felony cruelty, intentional physical harm, or criminal fraud against any member of the household shall suffer immediate, permanent, and irrevocable forfeiture of all testamentary rights, dividends, and property claims.’
Judge Sterling adjusted her glasses, reviewing the certified police evidence, the forged promissory notes, and the veterinary sedative vials.
Judge Sterling struck her heavy wooden gavel with a resounding crack.
“The court finds that Brock Radford has violated every moral and legal standard of the Radford Family Trust,” Judge Sterling declared. “Brock Radford is hereby stripped of all inheritance rights, removed from all property deeds, and permanently barred from holding any interest in the Radford Estate.”
Judge Sterling signed the new master deed.
“By decree of the primary trustee, Henrietta Radford, 100% of the Radford Ranch, the land holdings, and the family trusts are hereby transferred into the Natasha & Baby Radford Irrevocable Living Trust, under the sole executorship of Natasha Radford.”
