Chapter 14 - A WEDDING WITHOUT A DEADLINE

One year after the yacht disaster, Gabriel and I renewed our vows.

Not because we needed to.

Because we wanted to.

The ceremony took place in a small garden overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

I wore a simple white dress.

Gabriel wore a dark suit.

My parents attended.

A few close friends.

No reporters.

No business partners.

The officiant smiled.

“Are you ready?”

I looked at Gabriel.

He smiled.

“Yes.”

We exchanged vows.

This time, there was no clock.

No contract deadline.

No woman wearing my wedding ring.

Just love.

May you like

When Gabriel kissed me, I laughed through tears.

And for the first time, my wedding day belonged entirely to me.
