Valentina refused to disappear quietly.
When she realized Dante wasn't returning to her, she began spreading rumors.
She claimed I was using Leo to manipulate him.
She told reporters I had filed for divorce to gain access to the Romano fortune.
She even suggested that Dante had doubts about Leo's paternity.
That was the moment Dante finally stopped remaining silent.
He issued a public statement through his attorney.
It was short.
Clear.
And devastating.
My son Leo is my child. Isabella is his mother, and she deserves privacy and respect. Any suggestion otherwise is false.
He also confirmed that he had failed his wife during the birth of their son.
He did not blame business.
He did not blame Valentina.
He accepted responsibility.
When I read the statement, I sat quietly for a long time.
