Chapter 9 - The Federal Gavel of Justice

Gabriel connected an encrypted drive to the boardroom's 85-inch panoramic wall monitors.

The screens illuminated with crystal-clear 4K video and high-fidelity audio:

The Lower Deck Recording: Flynn, Aidan, and Fiona toasting with champagne to my murder and the $300M payout.

The Aft Balcony Assault: The unedited footage from the yacht’s hidden mast camera showing Flynn violently pushing me over the railing into the stormy sea.

The Colorado Interception: Video confessions of the two mechanics caught cutting Arthur Sterling’s brake lines under Flynn's orders.

The Swiss Banking Scheme: Decrypted bank logs proving Vanessa Cole and Flynn had prepared offshore routing numbers to funnel the stolen trust funds.

The room erupted into an uproar of absolute revulsion.

Senior Detective Marcus Stone stepped forward, pulling heavy steel handcuffs from his tactical belt.

"Flynn Vance, Aidan Vance, Fiona Vance, Vanessa Cole," Detective Stone declared loudly. "Under Title 18 of the United States Code, you are placed under immediate arrest for Attempted First-Degree Premeditated Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Capital Homicide, Interstate Wire Fraud, and Grand Fiduciary Larceny."

Four federal marshals pinned Flynn against the boardroom table, snapping the cold iron cuffs shut around his wrists as he sobbed and thrash in hysterical panic.

"Elena! Please!" Flynn wailed, tears and sweat ruining his expensive collar. "My parents forced me! Vanessa seduced me! I love you, Elena! Forgive me!"

I walked up to the edge of the table, looking down at the pathetic parasite who had tried to drown me in the dark.

"You never loved me, Flynn," I whispered with cold, absolute disgust. "You loved the numbers on my father's balance sheet. And now, you will spend the rest of your life counting the bars of a federal cell."

As the federal marshals dragged the four weeping convicts out of the skyscraper in heavy chains before thirty flashing news cameras on Fifth Avenue, the lawyers and directors rose in a unanimous, standing ovation.
