Chapter 6 - The Boardroom Audit of Vance LogisticsVictoria gasped in pain, her eyes widening in stunned disbelief as my fingers tightened around her bone.

"Edward! You’re hurting me!" Victoria cried out. "What is wrong with you?!"
I didn't let go. I pulled her forward until her face was inches from mine, letting her see the cold, unyielding judgment in my eyes.
"You have been in my house for the last time, Victoria," I said, my voice smooth as silk and cold as ice.
"Edward, please! This little peasant has poisoned your mind! I loved Lauren! I have spent the last fourteen months trying to help you put our lives back together!"
"You didn't love Lauren," I replied softly. "You put a frequency jammer in her braking module."
Every drop of color evaporated from Victoria’s face.
Her lips parted, but no sound came out. Her eyes darted toward the security monitors mounted in the kitchen archway, where Marcus Stone stood holding a sealed manila envelope.
Julian Hayes, the Chief Legal Counsel for Morrison Dynamics, stepped into the kitchen accompanied by two uniformed detectives from the Westchester County District Attorney's Major Crimes Bureau.
"Miss Vance," Julian Hayes announced in an icy, measured baritone. "At 4:00 PM today, the Department of Justice unsealed emergency search warrants for your residence in Bedford and the administrative headquarters of Vance Logistics."
Julian opened the manila folder:
The Intercepted Emails: Communications between Victoria and an unlicensed hardware technician in Brooklyn discussing the procurement of an automotive CAN-bus override transmitter.
The Cryptocurrency Ledgers: The decrypted transaction logs linking her personal trust account to Carl Miller’s offshore wallet.

The Prenuptial Scheme: A draft estate transfer agreement discovered on her private cloud server, designed to strip Jordan and Justin of their inheritance once she married Edward.
Victoria’s knees buckled. She would have collapsed onto the floor if my hand hadn't been holding her upright.
